MY PEOPLE PERISH DUE TO LACK OF KNOWLEDGE..

There are many men and women who claim the mediumistic ability to communicate with the dead. They have thousands of fans that believe them and frequently call upon them to explain the unexplained, to walk through their homes and business to identify the names of spirits that are haunting these places.

Even more disturbing is the fact that they prey on many that are mourning the deaths of their loved ones. They mislead many and cause them to believe that they can communicate with those who have died to resolve unfinished business,
to ask where insurance policies are located or to convey their love for the one who has passed away - to name a few. These are works of the enemy and none of it can be trusted!

Looking For Answers in the Wrong Places: In order to get you to open your mind and make you more susceptible to this mediumistic abilities, to get you to trust the words of familiar / demon spirits, the enemy works through men and women of all walks of life including those in power and in the entertainment industry. They flood the television and movie theaters with movies on such topics and name thee movies and television show with names to get attention of the individuals who have become driven, thirsty and curious about the topics, such as: mediums, demonic possession, vampires, ghosts, charms, witchcraft, psychic, fortune teller, paranormal, illusionist, to name a few.

Recognizing Your Addiction: The seemingly innocent and unsuspecting Christian or non-believer of Jesus Christ, will soon began to develop an unnatural thirst for this type of entertainment You become rapidly addicted, and yet most often it is not recognized by you or those around you.

The addicted soon find themselves saving television shows to view them later, buying books on the topics, attending events that support such topics, and you will blog for hours on websites that support such topics and you will even allow your children to do the same without regard to how damaging this activity can and will be to an innocent child.

Soon, the enemy will have your full attention and belief in these forbidden practices. You will find that your addiction and thirst have you believing in every item associated with witchcraft, ghosts, paranormal psychic's cold, warm and hot readings, numerology, zodiac signs, astrology and other occult like
groups including séances. You may even build a large library on reading materials from so called experts on the topic as well. Anything outside of what God has ordained for His people is dangerous and should be avoided.

The Trap and the Enemy Reveals His True Face: Essentially, the devil is trying to get you to open your heart, mind, body and spirit to these practices. This is an easy task for the enemy when the you thirst for these forbidden practices and allow your curiosity to get the best of you.

SHUT THE DOOR! Do not allow this forbidden practices and materials to enter your spirit, your life and lives of your family members and friends.

Demons and Their Purposes - When You Insist on Speaking to the Dead: Once you have opened the door to your heart, mind, body and spirit to the enemy and his deception, you invite demons into your life, your home, your work place and the lives of your family members. They are not easy to get rid of once they are in your lives. Demons do not enter alone. They come with many others and infest
your life. They will take any shape or form; they will imitate any voice or sound that you are familiar with to get your attention and trust. As soon as this is attained, often times, you will see their true face, form and purpose. Only then, in most cases it is too late. They will come in deceiving forms for as long as it takes to win your soul away from God.

THE TRICKS PSYCHICS USE

There are three techniques commonly used by mediums to convince people of their alleged paranormal powers / mediums are: cold, warm, and hot reading. It is used as a get rich quick scam. Labeling oneself as a medium, psychic, white witch, voodoo priest, and/or fortuneteller may be attractive at first. The money earned while deceiving others can make this person a millionaire. They may brag that they have gained everything he or she wants in the world.

For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? Mark 8:36-37.

Cold reading, mediums make use of methods that help them "read" a person who was unknown to them in advance. Such methods may include observing body language, asking questions, and inviting the subject to interpret vague statements. For example, by observing body language and facial expressions of the person, the medium can get a good idea of whether or not they on the right track. By asking questions and inviting the person to interpret vague statements, the medium can gain valuable information that they will use later in the reading to make what appear to be a true revelation from the spirit world. Many have practiced and are very good at this, as they are receiving their technique from the master of deception, Satan. By effectively applying these techniques, the medium actually gets the subject to do the reading for her/him! This is the most commonly used method by the mediums. Many television shows invite these people on a weekly or monthly basis and millions of people watch these talk show, believing what these people are saying.

There are psychics who claim they can perform this right on the telephone through the radio waves. It can not be trusted. A lucky guess in many cases can cause the innocent to thirst for more, thereby sucking them into a life of turmoil.

Warm reading involves making statements that usually applies to many people in general. For example, many people carry or own a piece of jewelry that belonged to their dead loved one. By asking if the person is carrying such jewelry, the medium has a good chance of making a "hit." This can give the impression that the information was divined from a paranormal source. In reality, of course, it may have been nothing more than a lucky guess used more often than not.

Hot reading, actually involves getting information about a person before the reading begins! This is the ultimate deception. Mediums have been caught red-handed using "hot reading" techniques back stage or by using one of their staff members to research the person in many ways to gather information, including obituaries.

SHUT THAT DOOR! Get out while you can. Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Psalm 34:14-15

Roman Catholics

Roman Catholics and others, lacking discernment (learned by experience - Hebrews 5:14), through knowledge of the Bible (Hebrews 4:12; 2 Timothy 3:15, 6; Ezekiel 44;23) and knowledge of the Scriptures ("My people perish for lack of knowledge") -- and trusting the hierarchy of man -- fail to "test the spirits and see whether they be of God" (1 John 4:1). They assume the priests do that for them! If a sign or wonder predicted comes to pass, but the person is enticed to follow after another god, we are to reject it. (Deuteronomy 13:1-5)

If the message delivered is contrary to Scripture, it's not from God (Isaiah 8:20; 2 Timothy 3:16). Some religious messages don't glorify Jesus at all; rather, the "vision" is glorified and, repeated again and again, perpetuated by tradition.

The Roman Catholic practice of praying to and for the dead can be traced in part to the Old Testament apocryphal books (2 Maccabees 12:46 "It is a holy and wholesome thought to pray for the dead.") These books rejected from the canon ("rule," or "standard") of Scripture, contain historical and geographical errors and many teachings inconsistent with the rest of scripture: salvation by almsgiving; suicide; magic; angelic intercession; etc. Definitely not sturdy upon which to base one's eternal destiny.

There have been many testimonies of people that have been involved in so-called communication with some dead person. But as they were drawn farther and farther into FAMILIAR SPIRITS, the demon revealed his true face and then laughed at the deception and the web they were caught in, as they had become demon-filled through the experience. This is why God commanded all the WITCHES to be put to death and demanded that His people have no contact with those who practice His enemy's ways. What will be your choice? God or Satan?

Exodus 22:18, "Thou shalt not suffer a WITCH to live".

A WITCH was one that used FAMILIAR SPIRITS (or demon spirits) impersonating the dead. God commanded that no one practicing conjuring the dead should live because they were using demonic powers to falsify reality. The Hebrew word for WITCH is kashaph.

Leviticus 19:31, "Regard not them that have FAMILIAR SPIRITS, neither seek after WIZARDS, to be defiled by them: I am the Lord your God." The phrase FAMILIAR SPIRITS here gives the thought of one that is casting their voice, like a ventriloquist, who deceives others into thinking they're speaking to someone, they're not. This Hebrew word for FAMILIAR SPIRITS is owb.

Leviticus 20:6, "And the soul that turneth after such as have FAMILIAR SPIRITS and after WIZARDS...I will even set my face against that soul...." the Hebrew word for WIZARD is yiddoniy. It means conjurer or knowing one. Satan definitely is a "knowing one" but what he knows is only how to corrupt your soul. His demons do his bidding in impersonating anything that will deceive you into believing he
has power or that God does not.

THE BIBLE'S INSTRUCTIONS ON THE PUNISHMENT FOR WITCHCRAFT AND WIZARDS

THE PUNISHMENT

FOR CONTACTING THE DEAD

The Bible Contains Strong Instructions Concerning Communication With the Dead and Spiritual Interaction: Deuteronomy 18:9-16 instructs the people of God to avoid any communication with the dead or with familiar spirits. The Hebrew equivalent of the words "familiar spirit" is as follows: "necromancer, one who evokes the dead; ghost, spirit of a dead one; practice of necromancy; one that has a familiar spirit."

"There shall not be found among you any...consulter with familiar spirits...or a necromancer" (Deuteronomy 18:11). In cases where it appeared that someone had communicated with the dead, the Bible scripture indicates that demonic activity was at the heart of the experience. For the believer, God has designed two methods of communication from the spiritual world to mankind. Those avenues are:

(1) His Word - the Holy Bible
(2) The gifts of the Spirit which were given to the Church. They are found in 1 Corinthians 12:8-10.

In none of these methods do we find permission to speak with the spirits of the dead. Anything outside of what God has ordained for His people is dangerous and should be avoided. If you suspect that you have fallen prey to this type of deception,

SHUT THE DOOR!

In the Old Testament time, before Jesus Christ's sacrifice, there was a great gulf fixed
between paradise and hell. At that time there was no communication between the dead and the living. It is more so now that there is no paradise but that the saints reside in heaven that there is no communication with the dead. Hebrews 9:27, "And it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment."

There is no indication that the Christian dead or other dead has any place in God's order. The only spiritual communication God desires is with Him, His Spirit and His Son, Christ. All other is the deception of Satan, His adversary who makes it appear to be family or friends but, like the ventriloquist, it is nothing other than demons.

God has promised that we shall see our loved ones if they have accepted Him. If they have not, they are forever lost to God and us and to seek them means eternal damnation of our soul.

"[Lazarus] died and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom," and the rich man died and suffered torment in Hades. A "great gulf" separated the two and was "fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." (Luke 16:19-31)  At the death of his son, David testified: "I shall go to him, but he shall not return unto me." (2 Samuel 12:15-23)

The rich man in hell wanted someone to communicate with his lost family, and Abraham stated that this was not possible because of the great gulf that separated them (Luke 16:19-31 KJV).

Put your trust in the Lord. Do not trust anyone who proclaims to be a medium, psychic, fortuneteller, witch, warlock, psychic, astrologist, and related titles.

When someone claims to have received a "vision" of the dead, it's really a deception of the enemy -- demon forces at work. Luke chapter 16 contains excellent instruction on the state of the dead, referring to an impassable separation between the after-life and this world.
Those in the next world saved or otherwise, simply do not return to deliver messages to the living:

The Punishment for Contacting the Dead is Very Severe, If Not Repented of. I Samuel 28:3-20; Isaiah 8:19-22. This also include what Roman Catholicism claims is praying to the "saints” the deceased, who have been beatified, canonized, or placed in a position of spiritual superiority by the hierarchy. (Scripture refers to all believers as "saints.") The real force at work in such "apparitions" (appearances of the deceased) is deception: demonic activity, evil spirits.

Satan disguises himself as "an angel of light," it says in 2 Corinthians 11:14. (He doesn't approach us saying, "Boo!" or we'd run & hide.)

Satan will dispatch his demons to appear to you in many forms including a strong resemblance of your parents, children, a pet dog or cat and even people we never met but may recognize due to history accounts and photos widely distributed in books and on the Internet.  You miss that person or pet so much that you want to believe that he, she or it has come back from the dead to tell you something, to warn you perhaps or to watch over you while you win awards or other accomplishments of which they may have been proud to see. Do not be fooled.

These ghosts (i.e. Demons) have been around for centuries. They know when your loved ones and pets died, the circumstances and many details about you and your family dating back before you were born. They will use every resource available to them, in order to
get you to believe that what you are looking at, is actually your spouse, parent, child, or pet. This is a trick. One of the oldest tricks and one most often use to get you to believe in order to be deceived. Use great discernment when ghosts appear to you and when you hear voices. You must learn quickly what you are truly hearing and are gazing upon.

When prophecies or visions fail to come to pass, we know they're not of God (Deuteronomy 18:21-22). But even if a vision or prophecy does come to pass, scripture says, we are still instructed to examine or discern the source: if it doesn't glorify Jesus -- if it glorifies any other person, living or dead -- it's not of God.

Not all miracles are of God. Satan performs lying signs and wonders. Exodus 7:9-12; 8:7, 17-19; Deuteronomy 13:1-5; Matthew 24:24; Mark 13:22; 2 Thessalonian 2:9; Revelation 13:13-14, 16:14; 19:20).

The magicians in the times of Moses and Daniel could perform some magic Exodus 7:9-12; 8:7; Daniel 1:20 ... But their power is limited Exodus 8:17-19; Daniel 2:2, 10, 27; 4:7; 5:7-8, 15.

THE LORD'S BASEBALL GAME

A TRUTHFUL TALL TALE:  Freddy and the Lord stood by to observe a baseball game. The Lord's team was playing Satan's team. The Lord's team was at bat, the score was tied zero to zero, and it was the bottom of the 9th inning with two outs. They continued to watch as a batter stepped up to the plate named 'Love.' Love swung at the first pitch and hit a single, because Love never fails.

The next batter was named Faith, who also got a single because Faith works with Love.

The next batter up was named Godly Wisdom. Satan wound up and threw the first pitch. Godly Wisdom looked it over and let it pass: Ball one. Three more pitches and Godly Wisdom walked because he never swings at what Satan throws.

The bases were now loaded. The Lord then turned to Freddy and told him He was now going to bring in His star player. Up to the plate stepped Grace.

Freddy said, 'He sure doesn't look like much' Satan's whole team relaxed when they saw Grace. Thinking he had won the game, Satan wound up and fired his first pitch. To the shock of everyone, Grace hit the ball harder than anyone had ever seen!

But Satan was not worried; his center fielder let very few get by. He went up for the ball, but it went right through his glove, hit him on the head and sent him crashing on the ground; the roaring crowds went wild as the ball continued over the fence . . . for a home run!

The Lord's team won! The Lord then asked Freddy if he knew why Love, Faith and Godly Wisdom could get on base but couldn't win the game.

Freddy answered that he didn't know why.

The Lord explained, if your love, faith and wisdom had won the game, you would think you had done it by yourself. Love, Faith and Wisdom will get you on base but only My Grace can get you Home: ‘For by Grace are you saved, it is a gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast. Ephesians 2:8-9 Psalms 84:11, For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.

I pray that the Lord add a blessing to the readers and listeners of this story.

The Diver

No matter how religious you may or may not be, this story can give you chills, make you fall on your knees and call out the name of Jesus in praise.

I would like to share this story with you and invite you to share this story with others.

Phil. 4:13 states:  I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength. A young man who had been raised as an atheist was training to be an Olympic diver. The only religious influence in his life came from his outspoken Christian friend.

The young diver never really paid much attention to his friend’s sermons, but he heard them often. One night the diver went to the indoor pool at the college he attended. The lights were all off. The pool had big skylights and the moon was bright; there was plenty of light to practice by.

The young man climbed up to the highest diving board. He turned his back to the pool and positioned himself onto the edge of the diving board. As he extended his arms out in preparation to dive into the pool, he saw his shadow on the wall. The shadow of his body was in the shape of a cross.

The man felt a strange sensation going through his body; it was as if someone was speaking to him. Instead of diving, he knelt down on the diving board to pray. He finally asked God to come into his life.

As the young man stood up again on the diving board, a maintenance man walked into the indoor pool area and turned the lights on. The pool had been drained for repairs.

Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him I can do all things though Christ that strengthens me. Phil 4:13.

If you Love Jesus, and are not ashamed of all the marvelous things he has done for you, please remember this story and send it to family and friends, saying, yes, I do Love Jesus. He is my source of existence and my Savior. He keeps me functioning each and every day.

I pray that the Lord add a blessing to the readers and listeners of this story.

Bounced Checks Blocks Blessings

Every dollar that comes into a church for offering and tithes is a blessing.

Some Pastors wrongfully pressures the congregation into giving more than they can afford. The members sometimes want to please the pastor so much, that they write a check and stand on faith; according to some who have written bad checks, in hopes that the money will come before the Church deposits the checks.

Some people write a check on an account that they are aware in advance does not have the funds to cover the check. Legally speaking, this is a crime and the Bible teaches us to follow the law of the land.

Every time you write a bad check you break the law and God's law. Most of the time, this issue goes unreported and the business or Church accepts this as a business loss. As such, people continue to write bad checks where ever they can get away with it.

Last year I watched and disapproved of a Pastor who stood on the pulpit and called off a list of names of members who had written bounced checks for tithes and offering. I did not like what this Pastor did, as when the members did not come forward to make the checks good, the Pastors called out their names in the next service each Sunday until they paid.

I felt bad for the members. I thought this Pastor should forgive the checks and move on, not knowing the details or the frequency of the check writer or the damage it may have caused that Church's account.

This story re-surfaced recently when a visiting Pastor wrote a bad check to our Church which bounced and due to extremely bad timing of this check it caused a back lash in our account causing other checks to bounce.

As a Pastor who follows the Word, forgiveness was in order. This visiting Pastor was informed of our forgiveness and as such this Pastor gave their Word that they would pay the bank charges by overnight mail. We took this Pastor's word. The replacement funds never arrived. Our emails went unanswered and our phone calls went unreturned. Now when I see the Pastor on line, she blocks me because seeing is a reminder of what she did wrong.

Therefore someone else's blessing were blocked by the dishonesty of this Pastor. It was hurtful to the Church and someone that this visiting Pastor never met.

When you write a bad check to a church - you block the blessings of someone else, especially if the Church donate funds to families with emergencies, including food and clothing for their children. It is a terrible thing to have a contribution check bounce, especially if that contribution causes a gift to a family in need to bounce.

Brothers and sisters in Christ: We are held to a higher standard than people in the world. Always do the right thing. If you know anyone or if you have written a check to a charity or a church and it has bounced, do the right thing, pay the fees the church incurred in your error and replace the check immediately. They should not have to ask you as you know the check bounced before the charity or the Church is informed.

Accidents happen and when they do, as Christians we have to always do the right thing and be honest and truthful.

Share this topic with others. What's in the dark always comes to light. Don’t force a Pastor or Charity to come to you for writing bad checks. Don't block the blessings of another.

I pray that the Lord add a blessing to the readers and listeners of this story.

This Story Was Reported in the News
THE COAL MINER'S STORY

Many of us have heard about the tragedy of the Coal Miner’s accident where 13 men were trapped underground and eventually a majority of them died. The accident was likely due to a lightning strike that caused an explosion, sealing 13 men in the mine. But many of us do not know
this side of the story...

When the news was announced about the Coal Miners entrapment under ground, the family members and friends of the miners flocked to the church and began praying to God asking that He save their family members, friends - the coal miner’s lives.

Then word came that the miners had been found. Witnesses in the church stated  that the spokesperson came inside the church and announced that of the 13 miners, 12 were found alive and one was dead. They announced the names. The family members and friends of the 12 miners shouted, rejoiced and thanked God with a loud roar of praise. A huge celebration began. Praise beyond description. Children were dancing in the isles and everyone was very happy that they would soon be reunited with their loved ones. There was singing and praise as if the people had witnessed the resurrection.

While they praised the Lord, the small one family stood to the side grieving for the loss of their family member, the one coal miner who did not survive. It was suggested that everyone embrace the grieving family and support them for their loss. The family members of the 12 miners, who were said to have survived, did not heed the suggestion. It was said that only one person comforted the grieving family.

The witnesses present stated that a few minutes later, it was conveyed that something was very wrong with the original report. The people were allowed to believe that the original report was correct. There was such confusion due to media interception of cell phone calls, information and with everyone wanting to believe the best. It was unbelievable and devastating for the people to learn that they were lead to believe that the wrong information was correct.

When officials came back to the church and stated that a mistake had been made and then the correct information as - of the 13 coal miners that were trapped, 12 of them died and only 1 survived. The only survivor was of the small family member who was left alone to grieve by themselves.

The witnesses present said suddenly the family members of the 12 coal miners who were presumed to be alive / now dead, were very angry and in full grief.

When the congregation got the
corrected news from the officials, people who were praising God in full jubilation only minutes earlier, openly, loudly and with gladness as if they had witnessed the resurrection (when they thought their prayers were answered) cursed God, when they realized that it was not the Lord’s
will to spare the lives of their loved ones.

A rescue worker said in the hearings, that he may have said "They're alive" during the confusion of finding a survivor. He apologized to the dead men's families, who have since released a statement, saying they don't hold him responsible.

The Pastor was said to be present when the first incorrect news arrived as well as when the corrected news was announced. He remarked to the press days later that he did not know if doing a sermon on Sunday would even be in order. Suddenly there was no more praise or thanks to God from the family of the 12 whom actually had perished in the tragedy.

The Minister Who Refused to Listen

A Minister once announced in Bible study classes that she had a visit from her son who had died. This familiar spirit that was impersonating her son appeared to the minister in her bedroom one night. It told
her that he was ok. She recalled feeling a sense of peace and happiness to learn that her son was ok.

That same night, this familiar (demon) spirit visited her granddaughter in the other room. It frightened the child immensely. When the members in Bible study class and the Pastor leading the class attempted to explain to the minister that this was not her son, that it was a familiar spirit (demon) attempting to
deceive her and gain her trust, the minister did not believe the pastor or the members in the class.

Evenly the Minister verbally accepted the information, but it was clear by her body language and her facial expression that in her heart, she believed it was her son coming back from the dead to console
her. She was wrong. This minister needs to SHUT THIS DOOR! Failure to do so will result in many other familiar spirits entering through this door to deceive her and eventually began a reign of torment
and terror in her life and the lives of her family members.

What You Do Not Know Can Harm You

A woman living in Colorado purchased a small paperback book from a thrift store. She recalls how her and her friend, a Minister raced with each other to get to the book. She won the race and bought
the book for less than one dollar. The book was filled with short stories of voodoo practices and wrath brought upon unsuspecting people in Louisiana by Priests and other people who practice this
form of witch craft. The woman found the book to be interesting and began reading chapter after chapter while she sat in her bed at night.

Within minutes of reading this book, her bed levitated. Water glasses and the plate of food that her daughter was eating and drinking slide from one end of the table to the next. Their dog began barking at something that only he could see. The bedroom room became so cold, that she could see her breath.

The woman called her friend the minister while the bed levitated above the end table where the
telephone base was located. Only then did the Minister reveal that the book and what ever curses that were attached to the book, had been unleashed into the woman’s house, simply by the curiosity of her reading the chapters. They prayed and wrapped the book up. She forbidden her daughter, demanding that she never read the book.

Unbeknownst to the woman, her daughter read the book. Evenly, the family had to move from this
home and burn the book. Clearly, what they did not know, hurt. They inadvertently evoke the ghosts,
familiar spirits attached to this book when they brought it into their home and began reading it. We do not have permission to speak with the spirits of the dead in any way shape of form.

The Library Book

Note:  Specific detail relating to this story have been omitted per the request of the families effected per their request.

In the early 1970s a teenager checked out a book about ghosts from the school library. The book told story after story of ghostly stories, some funny, other scary. She was so drawn to the book that she
renewed the book loan so often that the librarian would not allow her to check it out again. Not to be
out done, the smart teenager told her sisters, brothers and cousins about the book. Within days, the teen's cousins, sisters and brothers were each taking turns checking the book out from the school library. This caused the book to remain in their home for almost a year. When the Librarian caught on to this plan, she interrupted the family from checking out the book.

The teen could not be out done, so she then informed her friends and neighbors and they soon began checking out the same book, kept it in their homes for extended periods of time. Soon the book was in of their homes for years circulating back and forth.

Within weeks of having the book in their home, the teenager, her family members and friends would begin memorizing the text and acting out the paragraphs as it they were reading a television and movie
script. They memorized the entire book.

Many supernatural disturbances began to occur including ghosts sightings resembling their family members that had past on, ghosts in the shape of fire, evil spirits with major facial and body
deformities, loud noises erupted - including screams, shouting and yelling throughout the day and night and heavy furniture was tossed around the living room. By the time their grandmother learned of the presence of the book in their home, these torments had been going on for years. The same things
were happening as well in their neighbor's homes, as the teenager's friends were helping her to check the book out of the library and would also bring it to their homes and memorize the text.

The grandmother instructed the children to never bring the book back in the house. Little did she know that some of the children were still taking turns checking the book out from the library and
hiding it in the homes of their neighbors.

Eventually the children obeyed, as they began to mature and learn in Sunday school and during revivals at church that what they were doing with the book, helped to keep the tormenting going in their homes which had grown to demon possession. By then it was far out of control. It did not end until many
years later when all of the children became adults and moved out of the house. But the grandmother and some of the children, who were later adults continued to be followed and tormented for years even after the house was condemned and torn down by the city. Some of the children now adults were so profoundly effected that they can't speak on the subject to this day and others in the family continue to live in fear.  SHUT THE DOOR!

SHOPPING FOR A HUSBAND

If you ask one thousand

single women the question,

“Why are you still single?”

At least 75% of this group

may answer, “I am still

searching for Mr. Right; or

“When the Right one comes

along,  I’ll settle down”,

or “There are no good men

left in the world, the good

ones are already taken.”

 With these comments in

mind, read the story below

with an open mind. It is my

version of a story given to

me by a man who is a
Professional Business

Improvement Coach for a

major corporation. In a

year’s time, he coaches

thousands of women.

A popular major department store in Los Angeles runs an ad in the local newspaper in the Single’s column where women routinely browse to search for potential husbands. The article reads in part, “…tired of the dating scene, tired of friends match making failures, searching for a husband? We have a great deal for you. Join us tomorrow – one day only
from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. to meet thousands of single, available, successful and handsome men all under one roof, just waiting to meet you, Miss Right….”

Lines began forming at 6 a.m. Thousand of women arrived.

Large signs outside the building and inside the lobby of the department
store gave specific instructions and rules as follows:

There are 7 levels that you may access by elevator.

- You may go to any one or all of the 7 levels.
- You may not return to a floor once you have

        move upward.

-  You will receive a list of attributes of the

          The Shopping Experience

A group of women gathered on the elevators and exited on the first floor. A large sign outside the closed door of the
room stated:

The men on this floor are: - Level 1:

Divorced, Handsome, Hard Working, Blue-Collar Workers, Have children. Rents an Apartment, Loves Romantic Dinners at Home.
Hobbies Fishing, Hunting and Camping.

A large group of women read the sign. Most of them are turned off by divorce
but like that the fact that these men are handsome and loves children. They decide
to skip this floor with out viewing the men and move on to the next floor.

Level 2:  Single, Handsome, Physically Fit, No Siblings, White-Collar Workers, Wants no Kids, Owns a Condo, Lifts Weights, Loves Traveling, Jazz Music, and the Theatre.

An even larger group of women gather out side the door on the second level
and read the sign. Excitement is growing. One woman suggest that if they think
this is good, then why bother to look on this floor, lets keep going and find the
best men available. The larger group of women agree and they decide to skip
this floor with out viewing the men and move on to the next floor.

Level 3:   Single, Kids Maybe, Rich, Entertainment Professionals,  Sports, Model, Actor, Recording Artist; Homeowner, Loves Big Lights, Big Cities and Romance. Has bodyguards.

More than a thousand women have now caught up with each other on the
third level. They gather out side the door on the third level and read the sign.

Excitement has now grown to outburst of enjoyment. Women are now shouting
out the information on the sign. Many women clap and began considering entering the door to meet some of these rich, entertainment professionals.

After a discussion that rushes through the crowd like wild fire, the women,
who have never met prior to this date, decide to stick together and move on to the next level. No one opens the door to see the men.

Level 4:  Single, Handsome, Loves Children, Wealthy, Doctors and Pastors, Generous, From Large Families, Owns investment Properties, Lives on Estate with Parents, Board Members of Charity Organizations, and
has lots of friends.

More than a thousand women arrive on the fourth level. There are so many women, that many had to take the stairs instead of the elevator. Many
women ran up the stairs in high heeled shoes. They gather out side the door
on the third level and read the sign. Excitement is now accompanied with heavy
breathing for those who ran up the stairs.

Women continue to shout  out the information on the sign. A few women began considering entering the door to meet
the 'Wealthy Doctors, Pastors Investors who love children'.  After a discussion they rush through the crowd again like wild fire, many women began entering the stairways again and the elevators. The elevators filled up quickly.

One woman was pushed to the side and could not fit in the elevator. She was tired from running and still out of breath. Soon she was left alone on the 4th Floor. The other women moved on to the next level. She stood alone waiting on the elevator. Soon the door opened and it was empty. She stared inside the empty elevator and then turn towards the door that leads to the 'single, handsome, wealthy doctors, Pastors and investors'. She turned again to look at the empty elevator and then back at the door leading to the men. Suddenly she hears another group of women running up the stairs.

She needed to decide what to do soon before the next group of women arrive. She decides. She opens the door to meet the men on level 4 and within moments she is greeted politely with several choices of 'polite and intelligent single, handsome, wealthy doctors, pastors and investors' - lead by a the host and hostess of level 4.

Meanwhile, on level 5. The sign reads:

More than a thousand women arrive on the fifth level. There are more women than before because the second group of women did not bother to stop at any level to even discuss their decision. Now you have almost two thousand women entering the fifth floor. They gather out side the door and read the sign. With out a word, they keep plowing ahead to the next level acting as one wild unit of women.

Level 6:  Single, Overweight, Inherited or Will Inherit Family Fortune, Never Had a Job. Very close With Family, Wants Many Children. Loves Traveling, Golf, Cars, Skiing, Sports and Amusement Parks. Lives in Family Mansion. Travels by Private Jet and Yacht. Spares no expense. Donates to charity.

When the large group of women arrive on the 6th floor, several women read the sign out loud. One lady states, “Come on girls let’s not settle for this floor either. If you all like what you read so far then imagine what will be available on the 7th level!”

One lady shouts, “But we can’t go back, and the 7th level is our last floor!”

Another lady states, “We don’t need to go back, the signs told us that as we climbed higher and higher, the choices kept getting better and better!”

Finally after much discussion and large group of women and the 3rd group following them decided to move on to the next level without opening the door to meet the men on the 6th level. Many took the stairs and several took the elevator.

When more than 3 thousand women arrived on the seventh floor rushing and pushing each other, eager to meet the
man of their dreams, they are shocked beyond belief when they read the next sign to themselves as one lady reads it out
loud.

Level 7:  You have exceeded the maximum levels allowed. There are no men on this floor. Sorry we were unable to meet your needs today. Thank you for shopping for a husband with us. Please Exit to your right. Have a nice day!

One out of more than three thousand women entered the store that day, and only one meet the man of her dreams.
High expectation ruins chances. Greed will block your blessing.

ANGELS EXISTS

In the Bible, Angels are a medium of God's power; they exist to execute God's will. Angels reveal themselves to individuals as well as to the whole nation, in order to announce events, either good or bad, affecting humans.

Angels foretold to Abraham the birth of Isaac, to Manoah the birth of Samson, and to Abraham the destruction of Sodom. God sent an angel to protect the Hebrew people after their exodus from Egypt, to lead them to the promised land, and to destroy the hostile tribes in their way (Ex. 23.20, Num. 20.16).

An angel brought Elijah meat and drink (I Kings, xix.5); and as God watched over Jacob, so is every pious person protected by an angel, who cares for him in all his ways (Ps. xxxiv. 7, xci. 11). There are angels militant, one of whom smites in one night the whole Assyrian army of 185,000 men (II Kings, xix. 35); messengers go forth from God "in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid" (Ezek. xxx. 9); the enemy is scattered before
the angel like chaff (Ps. xxxv. 5, 6). The angel Gabriel announced to Mary that she was to be the mother of the promised Messiah by conceiving him through the Holy Spirit, the power of the Most
High (the Annunciation, Luke 1:35).

   Appearance of angels: In the Hebrew Bible, angels often appear to people in the shape of humans of extraordinary beauty, and often are not immediately recognized as angels (Gen. xviii. 2, xix. 5; Judges, vi. 17, xiii. 6; II Sam. xxix. 9); some fly through the air; some become invisible;
sacrifices touched by them are consumed by fire; and they may disappear in sacrificial fire, like Elijah, who rode to heaven in a fiery chariot.

Angels, or the Angel, appeared in the flames of the thorn bush (Gen. xvi. 13; Judges, vi. 21, 22; II Kings, ii. 11; Ex. iii. 2). They are described as pure and bright as Heaven; consequently, they
are said to be formed of fire, and encompassed by light (Job, xv. 15).

Though superhuman, angels can assume human form. Gradually, and especially in post-Biblical times, angels came to be
bodied forth in a form corresponding to the nature of the mission to be fulfilled—generally, however, the human form.

The Day An Angel Saved My Life and the Life of My Unborn Daughter.”

[ THE ANGEL AND THE CHEVY]

In 1979, in a small town called Aberdeen, Maryland, a young woman felt a craving for chocolate. She decided to go to the corner store to make a purchase. When she got to the door, prepared to walk the 2 plus miles in the hot sun, she saw the light blue Chevy left behind and
vaguely remembered being told to never drive the car. But as she breathes in the hot air and looked upon her bundle of joy nearing the end of her 9 months of pregnancy, she decided it would be safer and quicker to drive to the store. After all, if she were careful, no one would ever know that she drove the car.

She carefully drove the car toward the store feeling more excited as she moved slowly through the streets. When she arrived at the top of a hill nearing a stop sign, she could see the store in the
distance, far down the steep hill. She pressed the brakes to stop at the hilltop. Her foot went down to the floor on the pedal, but the car would not stop. There were no brakes.

The heavy Chevy went over the hilltop quickly like a roller coaster over its tallest down slope.

The young woman could see her life and the life of her unborn daughter flashing before her eyes as the car picked up speeds above 50 miles an hour on the down slope. Any minute now, she
was going to speed directly into the traffic of mostly big rigs, 16-wheelers and cars coming from the east and west. She would surely crash and die.

The young woman took a deep breath and then called out to the Lord, “Jesus! Jesus!” she shouted to the top of her voice. In an instant, she saw a little boy at her driver side window. He was riding a Spider bike with a banana seat.

The bike strangely kept up with her car. He was perfectly centered in her driver side window looking straight into her face. This took her attentions off the crash, which was certain to happen in front of her. She heard the little boy speak to her, yet his mouth was not moving. He told her to follow him as he pointed to the right.

The young woman spoke out loud to him, saying, “ok”.

The boy began pedaling his bike faster and bypassed the Chevy. His yellow blonde hair was shoulder length, just like the little boys that lived near her home. He pedaled the bike across the road in front of the car. His hair flowed in the wind, all of which appeared to her in slow motion.
The boy appeared to be gliding in the air slightly above the ground, yet he kept pedaling the Spider bike.

The young woman followed the little boy to the right.  He led her into a large dirt field and suddenly a cloud of dust engulfed the air. She lost sight of the boy, but she could hear him speaking to her. He told her to hold on to the stirring wheel keeping it turned hard to the left. She obeyed. The Chevy spun around in circles several times before coming to a complete stop.

As she sat in the car attempting to calm herself for a few seconds and catch her breath, the cloud of dirt began to settle.

She got out of her car to look for the little boy, to thank him. She stood on the sidewalk and looked to her left up the steep hill from whence they’d come. The little boy was no where to be found. She looked to the east and to the west, up the boulevard where she was surely to crash had he not helped her and she searched for him up and down the street; the
boy was no where to be found.

Within an instant, the young woman came to realize that she had called on the name of Jesus in her time of need and he answered her immediately. He sent an angel in a non-threatening form Of a child who resembled the little children that played daily around her home to save her life and her unborn daughter who is now 26 years old.

The young woman in this story is Bishop  Maggie Campbell.

“Without Him, I will be nothing. Without Him, I am nothing, but with Him I can do all things though Christ that strengthens me.” Phil 4:13.

I pray that the Lord add a blessing to the readers and listeners of this story.
